It is unbelievable that these people cannot be found after years...but it's time to map this out Cleveland and find our people. The police keep saying that they won't map it out geographically because they want to respect the privacy of the families....but we need to find our citizens.....prayerfully alive!!!

Today, my heart sunk when a relative got a text that we thought was a too far fetched to be true...but we reacted immediately with phone calls to see if it was true as we didn't have a TV available to see the news...within minutes we were sure the news was true....they found Amanda Berry, Gina Dejesus, and Michelle Knight alive along with a little girl later to be found out to be Amanda's daughter.

You live in the shadows of a forty hour per week job that pays you a decent living...You get off work, toast a beer, and dog out all the poor folks who get any kind of public assistance because you are a "hard-working" American.

Thank you PD for your article about Prosecutor McGinty going after those corrupt jerks. It's kind of skewed reporting to make the points stated in the article; almost like a notice for McGinty to back off. As a citizen---I find it pathetic that any reporter would undermine the idea of recapitulating public coffers which are being paid out to corrupt assholes. You should be commending and saluting the public officials trying to have the backbone to go after the corrupt! So...keep up the great reporting.

They are attempting to insure that every ward has enough quotas in it to sustain funding practices from HUD for CDBG funds and much more...it's a quota game.... if they screw it up...they lose those big funds which support the Community Development and Neighborhood Stabilization Programs...etc...

My main take-away from the meeting last night was that this could be a bona-fide recycling operation - but why this location East 79th and St. Clair???

Praying for the Police Department and everyone involved in the City of Cleveland.

The rippling affects of this case will indefinitely transform our City.

Disregard for policy, danger to themselves, failure to control situation, supervisor failures, more investigation, evidence to be presented to Grand Jury by County prosecutor and so much more. The reactions by people to this situation may be a defining moment in the history of Cleveland, Ohio.

It's bad enough to drive down the streets and see the bulldozers demo'ing properties...but it's worse to see the truth be deleted.....another TREMONTER state of affairs, with lots of public input going to hell in a handbasket.

For approximately a century, the Cleveland Justice System was ran under the gimmick of corruption, federal tax dollar quotafication and steering of political and fiscal resources to accomodate it's big business process. The people were used to get grants, to get more grants, and to keep growing this big business which then resulted in more patronage than is possible to imagine. The entire way that anyone associated with this Justice Center thinks is skewed, corrupt, and revolves around pay to play games.

How many ways can the people of our community be insulted by the corrupt attitudes that have discouraged standing up for what is right in our world? I hope these corrupt people begin to think twice before opening their mouthes in an attempt to intimidate the families of victims of social injustice.
