When I first went by it was almost midnight on Thanksgiving and  there were about 6 candles on each side of the sidewalk - very cool.  I couldn't stop at the time to image them, but I went back about 20 minutes later and all but these two had gone out. 

I have seen candles in public twice in the last few weeks.   Once at the vigil for the dead women of Imperial Avenue, Cleveland, and, just a few miles away from Imperial Ave,  for this very welcoming residence.  

What a contrast, eh?
