NEITHER RAIN NOR SNOW NOR BLIZZARDS CAN PREVENT THE CALL FOR “INVESTIGATE CITY HALL” FOR THE SENSELESS AND ILLEGITIMATE DESTRUCTION OF HISTORIC JOHN MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL IN CLEVELAND, OHIO!

Photographed during the blizzard of January 2, 2014 on Lorain Avenue opposite Marc’s Plaza.

Drivers continue to honk as they pass by our red, blue, and white – very conspicuous signs – recognized all over Cleveland and beyond.

INVESTIGATE CITY HALL  for the senseless and illegitimate destruction in 2012/2013 of historic John Marshall High School (opened in 1932) -- an architectural gem.

The destruction was a crime against humanity that shall never be forgotten.

The destruction was brought about by vote rigging & other irregularities committed by corrupt politicians (Mayor Frank Jackson & Councilman Martin J. Sweeney) & a visionless & corrupt Cleveland Metropolitan School District -- and their multitude of cronies.

Other irregularities included: collusive inaction, and denial of due process to over 2,400 petitioners who wanted to renovate 81-year old John Marshall High School – similar to the renovation of 84-year old John Hay (built in 1929) and 81-year old Rhodes (built in 1932) High Schools – all designed by George M. Hopkinson – the British-born architect.

The cronies included professionals in the city departments (Director of City Planning, Chief Architect, and Chair of the Cleveland Landmarks Commission) who are incharge of protecting and preserving our landmarks.

However, both the Director of City Planning and the Chief Architect voted to demolish the 81-year old landmark.

While the Chair of the Landmarks Commission did not vote, the Chair facilitated the vote rigging which was engineered by Councilman & then City Council President Sweeney -- Cleveland's most powerful and corrupt politician.

May the names of the following who facilitated the senseless destruction – forever live in infamy:

Mayor Frank G. Jackson;
Councilman and former City Council President Martin J. Sweeney;
Councilman Anthony Brancatelli;
Councilwoman Phyllis E. Cleveland;
Cleveland Metropolitan School District;
Chair, Cleveland Landmarks Commission;
Manager of Architecture (Chief Architect), City of Cleveland;
Director of City Planning;
Bellaire Puritas Development Corporation; and
President and those trustees of the John Marshall High Alumni Association who openly advocated for demolition.

GCP priming CLE for next construction levy

  Thank you Mr. Puri - for your tireless, Gandhi-like commitment to truth and justice.

GCP controlled Northeast Ohio Media Group aka Cleveland.com aka Plain Dealer are going to try and foist another levy on taxpayers to support the senseless and out-of-control construction of new CMSD schools while the existing facilities infrastructure and facilities "plan" is a disaster.

CMSD also did not get the Straight A funding requested to help bring the system up-to-date in terms of bandwidth needed for new technologies.  No one wants to report this. Here are the "winners" :
