Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Thu, 04/19/2012 - 23:49.

Greece was the first country to defect from the non-default game theory regime of the European Union (a move which ultimately will be in its great benefit, as it is forced, very shortly, to default higher and higher into the 177% of GDP secured debt, until finally even the Troika's DIP loan is impaired).

Meet Allan Hill, The Man Who Lives In Detroit's Abandoned Packard Auto PlantPerhaps the biggest shortcoming of Detroit "ruin porn" is it inherently ignores the very real people who still live in the city. Now there's a convergence — the amazing story of Allan Hill, the man who legally lives inside the city's abandoned Packard Auto Plant.

New Age Lifestyle - homeless with shopping cart - police on their way - everything's fine

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Fri, 04/13/2012 - 17:54.

homeless man with shopping cart at McDonalds This fellow was sitting in the parking lot of a McDonald's outlet (not in Ohio).

It appeared he had had a few (too many in life too) but wasn't being more than a visual discomfort - if you find reality discomforting.

By this point the fellow had attempted to get up, was too drunk, and pulled his cart over on himself.

He lay spralled on the asphalt.

806 Wine Bar Closed, Joe Cimperman Trying to Block Former Owner From Taking Over Space - front organization for Tom Leneghan

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Wed, 04/04/2012 - 21:21.

The problem, according to councilman Joe Cimperman: The new group, the Justin Hughes Corporation, is actually a front organization for landlord Tom Leneghan, who also owns the Treehouse bar on the next block. According to Cimperman, when Leneghan owned the wine bar from 2001 to 2008, it was even more raucous than it is now. And it’s plenty bad now, he adds.“Other operations let out around the same time,” says Cimperman, “but we weren’t getting the same complaints. There’s not the severity anyplace else like 806 Literary.”

CLEVELAND - Claims that a pregnant woman was kidnapped and carjacked from Steelyard Commons Saturday afternoon aren't true, according to Cleveland police. They said the 23-year-old made up the story.

“Our detectives did a great job. They looked at video and it revealed and unearthed the story that she was lying. It was a hoax,” said commander Keith Sulzer, who added the shopping plaza is safe.

FBI memo: agents can “bend or suspend the law and impinge upon the freedoms of others” (some agents that i met don't do this)

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Sat, 03/31/2012 - 12:24.

It has now emerged that the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) formally taught their agents that they were able to “bend or suspend the law and impinge upon the freedoms of others” in their quest to find alleged terrorists and criminals. While the FBI has allegedly removed this offending document from their curriculum, it does nothing to help the fact that unknown numbers of agents have already been exposed to the material and actually believe it to be accurate.Furthermore,

City of Boston Loses Landmark Case Against Man Who Recorded Police Brutality (tremont-public meetings can be video audio tapped)

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Wed, 03/28/2012 - 16:32.

Now, the city of Boston has been forced to go one step further than merely acquitting those charged -- they have had to respond to Glik's own lawsuit against them. As part of the settlement, Boston will pay Glik $170,000 in damages and legal fees, thus sending a warning to law enforcement that they will be watched and recorded by the public, as well as a warning to cities and states who will disobey the Constitution.
