Okay so I have a question for you.
As you know Earth Day's 40th anniversary is coming up on Thursday. Well, Discovery Channel's Life is also having it's series finale tonight. I don't know if any of you have been watching it but I have watched a few episodes and I must say it really opened my eyes to the beauty of our planet's wild life. Not only did it show animals but it also showed some amazing plant life too. Seeing this show made me think about the beauty in the areas that surround us and I was thinking about what is your favorite thing in nature around you? It could be the beauty of the green grass in the park or it could be the huge rose bush in your neighbor's yard. Leave a comment with ANYTHING you think of as your favorite part of nature near you. Mine is the Austin hill country area. I love the beauty of the mountains and driving through it is absolutely amazing!
One final note. Disney's Oceans is coming out on Earth Day, and, if you go and see it the first week it is out, profits from your ticket will go to save the coral reefs. SO, you should go see it, and don't forget to leave a comment about your favorite part of nature around you.
Ciao!
