[1]CLEVELAND -- Applebee's at the Steelyard Commons will be the site of a Second District Police Community Relations committee fundraiser between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6. Second District Cmdr. Keith Sulzer said that 15 percent of all customer checks at Applebee's that day will be donated to the committee for the purpose of having a Christmas Party for 200 needy children living in the district. Sulzer said 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards funding the party, and is asking the public to frequent Applebee's on Dec. 6 so that the police station can provide a special Christmas "for children who are truly in need.
