All around the world today persons went out and demonstrated. Millions and millions of people.
Where were those Americans during the election last fall?
Our democracy focused/set in Washington DC is the problem. It is obsolete. It attacts sociopathic persons, mainly men, who go to DC and are then easy prey for the lobby corporations.
Today, in Boston, Massachusetts, and across the world, entire families went out - with their home made Pussy Hats!
How do we engender our "democracy" with this same healthy civic involvement ?
I say, abandon DC.
We have the technology to allow representative government from every cranny of the USA (and the world, for that matter) No one needs to go to the Senate Chambers.
Women will be more interested in invovlement in government if their "job" does not disrupt their children's schooling.
We need to CLOSE DC.
