as you may know the f.b.i., - i.r.s., etc., media is investigating-

cleveland and cuyahoga county in general and elected officials-

because of my life has been threaten and i have been shot at-

and home - auto damaged etc.- police reports filed over

as you may well know i was banned from tremontleaders

yahoo group and tremonter and ohio city yahoo group

and now semi-banned from ohio city 2 yahoo group

because of the above and my posts that exposed the crime

in tremont and the corruption - gentrification-etc.,

and the things that i was posting years ago have come true-

and twdc board members and others have called the police

on me and violated my civil rights also-

but i have 40 years of friends in high and low places - so

the dirty tricks don't work-

and i treat my socalled adversary as if one day they will be

my friend-

for example - as i work with law enforcement and military

and secret goverment agencies to fight prevent enemies forgien

and domestic of america because of my oath as a united

states armed forces veteran - at the same time in the same

agencies a certain department may be investigating me-

the same with the great cleveland police department -

there are one or two or three racist ignorant poice that have

harressed me over the years in tremont but most police don't

allow thems selves to be used politically-

as the same for twdc employees i honor them because they

have to pay the home car family payments survive and are

caught in the middle of the twdc board which hasn't the best

interests of the citizens verses business's- etc.,

as barack and millions of others have stated-

so back to twdc - we can totally disagree but at the same time

be civil and respectfull as i do - i tell them they are doing a good

job - although when i'm aboard member twdc will do a far better

job for the people with the hundreds of thousands dollar budget-

i accused sammy of acting like a italian mafia person- yet we

are civil and respectfull to each other - tom cook, president of the

board stated at the last meeting " guy even if you count the votes

your self you'll still be suspious" i'm stationg that the election isn't

above suspision and open etc., - karen moss, board member stated

at said meeting to me "guy if you came to the meetings instead of just

running for the board every year" this after i spoke out about twdc

should have the courage to demand tax abatment for poor and middle

class older homes - not just new and expensive homes-

so i said to karen moss "your critical about me to make it look like

i don't do any thing but you all banned me from tremont leaders

and other things" karen said " i with draw my comment-

the golden rule - " do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

sandy smith, at a punk bar with few drinks in her or something else-

probably felt angry - anger comes from guilt and fear -

thats why the police know not to take these type of police reports serious

he said she said - politics in tremont-

twdc bylaws and articles are going to be rewritten in essence to be

much more inclusive and they will do a far better job-

everything and more that you been fighting peacefully for is

i'm calling for the board by just a board but the members have the

controlling vote all members-

and there is no clear way to identify a member -

so anyone can show at the jan. 29th meeting and sign as a member

and vote but no checks and balances to make sure they are a member

and also after in case voting dispute - keep the ballots 90 days at

least - election abservers - ballotts counted by independent persons

or volunteers not just board members from other development coro., that may have a secret agenda to elect pro business money corrupt pay to play favors political canidates - anti-poor disadvantaged low income etc.,-

"i will donate paper" chriss said "it will cost us more postage" i said

" no it won't that much because last year i had a 3 page and the before

i had 4 page" chriss said " sandy yarboro" will decide as the committe

chairperson for canidates " i said no she won't" " would you tell barack obama what you just told me - pretend i'm obama - chriss you got calls on my bio pressure" chriss laughed a big laugh-

the new great secretary procha (spelling) was there and she agreed with

chriss - we wished each other a good day-

i made some calls - they called chriss - i left a nice voice mail for chriss

"your doing a great job and your a great spirit but i will file a law suit

in court to force you to accept my 6 page bio"

Gentrification	:
	When "urban renewal" of lower class neighbourhoods with condos attracts yuppie tenants, driving up rents and driving out long time, lower income residents. It often begins with influxes of local artists looking for a cheap place to live, giving the neighbourhood a bohemian flair. This hip reputation attracts yuppies who want to live in such an atmosphere, driving out the lower income artists and lower income residents, often ethnic/racial minorities, changing the social character of the neighbourhood. It also involves the "yuppification" of local businesses; shops catering to yuppie tastes like sushi resaturants, Starbucks, etc... come to replace local businesses displaced by higher rents.

Gentrification is a term with inherent class connotations, and was coined by the sociologist Ruth Glass in London in 1964;

"One by one, many of the working-class quarters of London have been invaded by the middle-classes - upper and lower. Dear Board Members and Others;
In the past two weeks, several friends have informed me that Tremont West Development Corporation (TWDC) board member, Sandy Smith, has filed a police report alleging I assaulted her and threatened her life. Ms. Smith alleges I attacked her in anger over an eviction of my husband and myself; purportedly as an act of retribution. Friends have also told me that Ms. Smith has made such false accusations in correspondence to every board member of TWDC. I contacted several people with a close relationship to TWDC to see if there is merit to these rumors and I was led to believe there is.
First let me say I am not, nor have I ever been evicted. There is neither an impending eviction, nor will there be. My landlord is well aware of the politics of this quaint neighborhood and takes current drama in stride.

Second, and more importantly, I never harmed Ms. Smith, nor did I ever threaten to harm her, or threaten to kill her. Ms. Smith's histrionics stem from my telling her to mind her own business in a very crowded bar while a loud punk band was performing. My request for Ms. Smith to mind her own business came after several friends reported to me that Ms. Smith was making numerous inquiries into my personal life. My only statement to Ms Smith was brief, "Stay out of my personal life," and included absolutely no threats.

I'd like to point out Ohio Revised Code §2921.13 (cited below)* criminalizes issuing a false report to police.

I believe Ms. Smith's investigation of me was motivated by the same ill will that caused both my current and former rentals to be maliciously placed on the Tremont West Housing Code Violations List. One is listed as "vacant" (it has not been for years, and then only for a few short months); the other is listed as "undergoing rehab/check permits" (it was last rehabbed 8 years ago and is not now). (btw, Katie could you please have those properties removed as previously requested, or at least return my phone calls – thx!)

I believe this vitriol has been engendered by my outspoken insistence TWDC adhere to its stated purpose, "To maintain and improve the living, business, and cultural conditions for all (emphasis added) of Tremont." As you well know, TWDC has embarked on a highly controversial housing code violation enforcement program at a time when many of our neighbors are facing loss of jobs, lack of access to credit and rising cost of living. Despite Ms. Smith's assertion that "There are plenty of low-cost and no-cost loans out there," the reality is there are not.

As the TWDC housing committee, Ron O'Leary and staff have been advised by me in writing, there are none for residents that are non-bankable (growing in number daily) and earn barely enough to pay their bills. Cleveland's housing programs leave a void for hardworking families that can no longer secure credit. These families stand to fall through the cracks and lose their homes through the TWDC enforcement program. (Sammy, both TWDC housing page links for Repair-a-Home and Fix-up-Fund programs are inoperable, as either the program no longer exists or the link is bad – can that be corrected, as I requested earlier?)

These programs could be made available, and are in other cities, were TWDC willing to use CDBG and HUD funds to support them. The fact that the city of Cleveland, one of the poorest in the country, does not have these programs available to our residents is shameful, and telling. TWDC has the opportunity to standout as a truly progressive leader among CDCs, driving the city's policy to protect its residents while improving and stabilizing its housing stock. The fact that Tremont's property values are among the few stable in today's market lends more reason to the development of a program here.

To continue with aggressive enforcement that leaves many residents with no other option than to lose their homes is shameful. We are better than that.To utilize the enforcement list as a tool of retribution and harassment, as has been done with me, is unprofessional, irresponsible and disreputable. This behavior is the responsibility of every board member and every staff member, not just the perpetrators.

I've also been told that TWDC has requested additional security at the TWDC annual meeting, for the purpose of removing me from the meeting. Let me take this opportunity to inform you I will no longer be involved in the political affairs of the Tremont arneighborhood. I must say, I feel as though while running for the pinata, I witnessed a crippled boy have the crutches thrown out from under him. Let's hope the new Year, new United States Presidential Administration, and new Board of Directors, move our neighborhood towards improving and stabilizing the lives of all those that live in Tremont. Otherwise, in a few short years, you will find your beloved little neighborhood no different than your suburb.
