Australian 'angel' saves lives at suicide spot - "If one person smiles at me on the way to the bridge, I will not jump"

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Tue, 06/15/2010 - 04:50.

SYDNEY - In those bleak moments when the lost souls stood atop the cliff, wondering whether to jump, the sound of the wind and the waves was broken by a soft voice. "Why don't you come and have a cup of tea?" the stranger would ask. And when they turned to him, his smile was often their salvation.

Bombshell expose'. The real reason the oil still flows into the Gulf of Mexico. The real money is in the use of dispersants.

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Wed, 06/09/2010 - 23:57.

There is big money and even bigger players in this scam. While they are letting the oil blow wide open into the Gulf, the stakes and profit rise.

The Dolphins, Whales, Manatees, Sea Turtles and fish suffocate and die. The coastal regions, salt marshes, tourist attractions and the shore front properties are being destroyed, possibly permanently. The air quality is diminished. The Gulf of Mexico fishing industry is decimated.

All to create a need for their expensive and extremely profitable poison.

Popular personality and speaker Tony Robbins talks about what makes people do what they do. In addition to a priceless exchange between Robbins and former Vice President Al Gore, who was in the audience, the talk focuses on the emotional and psychological strengths of people, and how they direct action. The thread that runs through the talk is the conviction that giving is the most important and fulfilling action in life.

tremont - reply to lijbu - Taxes: What about taxes that are and have been paid by residents and homeowners for many years?

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Fri, 05/28/2010 - 02:17.
reply to lijbu - tremont - Taxes:  What about taxes that are and have been paid by residents and  homeowners for many years?  Sales taxes from the business sector is paid into a general fund for the City of Cleveland - so that these bars/restaurants/nightclubs could have easily opened up in more suitable locations and contributed to the same tax fund.  Federal Taxes are paid by everyone (except for those exempt) no matter where they locate.
