Bringing Cleveland cultural institutions to the world. Come to the George
Dively Education Building on the Case campus and join a network of people interested
in the latest information technology and services being developed in our
region.
Leonard Steinbach, CIO of The Cleveland Museum of Art, will
discuss and demonstrate how telecommunications technology can help bring
Cleveland's extraordinary cultural resources into our neighborhoods and into
the world. The benefits can range from improved quality of life for seniors,
international distance learning, or e-communities for poetry slammin' teens and
educators learning how to use the arts to educate, to "Telemedicine for
Pottery.". And how about a whole new art scene where telecommunications is
at the core of the art. Why cause a hubbub? Because Cleveland could be the hub.
will make a presentation regarding the integration of
technology.
