Resident Advocacy Group - Tremont Clark Avenue Bridge, Longest Span in the Country, Cleveland, Ohio ca. 1917 A couple of concrete supports are still around. There are 2 at the bottom of Clark hill and Quigley. I 've heard that no one is sure who owns them. That seems odd. I think that they should be preserved in any case. For more photos follow this link.

Giglio Property - Actual Tax Balance is 17,132.98Submitted by stephanie on Tue, 12/01/2009 - 15:15.
I know that information on this topic is unwelcome. Still I think there is a moral obligation to say that the current charge on this property is $17,132.98. It doesn't matter what you call the debt it is still owed the same as tax. Also according to the county the property is not in foreclosure but on a payment plan. It's a mystery why a few people attack anyone who doesn't mindlessly jump on the 'dbra' train or commit the even greater crime of offering facts that can be backed up. Look at the numbers for yourself posted at the end of this entry or follow the links to the county sites. Sorry for the facts.

REALNEO helps your brain age betterSubmitted by Norm Roulet on Mon, 11/23/2009 - 23:30.
One of my most valued resources for insight on health, the environment and aging is The Myth Of Alzheimer's, and I strongly recommend anyone reading this post subscribe to their e-mail updates and read that site regularly - it updates nearly daily. The Myth Of Alzheimer's is absolutely about you, your family, your friends, and all our futures, as we all age together on this human-changing world until we die.

The Real NEO Post-Citizen-Hauser Era, Year 2: Learning The Meaning Of "The Process Is Broken!"Submitted by Norm Roulet on Mon, 11/16/2009 - 14:15.
Citizen Ed Hauser, Victorious In The Battle Of Whiskey Island - "Ask Not What Your Planet Can Do For You..." It has been a year since Northeast Ohio lost our selfless civic activist "Citizen" Ed Hauser, silencing the great voice in the community saying that "The Process is Broken". November 14, 2009 - the one-year anniversary of Ed's death - a group of family and friends came together on the beautiful Whiskey Island Ed saved, before a late Autumn setting sun, to toast a glorious man, and mourn a most cursed and horrible year in Northeast Ohio without Ed. What does the dawn hold for this long-suffering region, in the second year without Citizen Hauser?

Quoted article, a failed PresidencySubmitted by savcash on Sat, 11/14/2009 - 14:09.
Attaching an article on the Obama Presidency. Conservatives will appreciate Professor Hunt's assessment. No reason for liberals to read it. You won't agree and there's nothing to discuss, just an opinion. (grin, pretty thought provoking, IMO) [copy] FAILED PRESIDENCY ( categories: )

Election Day! Cleveland council race features unique candidateSubmitted by talbano on Tue, 11/03/2009 - 14:10.
By Teresa Albano CLEVELAND - Volunteers are going house to house in this hard-hit city's West Side, getting out the vote for a candidate who they believe will "shake things up" and bring change to a neighborhood pockmarked with abandoned houses and torn up streets.
The Origins of REALNEOSubmitted by Norm Roulet on Mon, 11/02/2009 - 17:40.
October 7, 2009, we began our sixth year of ongoing, expansive, free, open source content management and global knowledge sharing, community building, social networking and collaboration on REALNEO. See posting Number 1, REALNEO Development Plan, from October 7, 2004, here, for links to many source documents from the planning and development of REALNEO, since 2004. Congratulations to all REALNEO members, from day one to today! We've come a long way, since 2004, and our outcomes run far deeper than is seen on the surface of REALNEO. Six years is an eternity, in the world of social computing - we're about 8 months younger than Facebook, and a paradigm beyond - we are Real Co-op!
