SLOW ROLL CLEVELAND BIKE RIDERS WELCOMED TO JEFFERSON PARK NEIGHBORHOODSubmitted by Satinder P S Puri on Tue, 08/17/2021 - 00:09.
SLOW ROLL CLEVELAND BIKE RIDERS WELCOMED TO JEFFERSON PARK NEIGHBORHOOD IN CLEVELAND, OHIO On an overcast but otherwise very pleasant 70 deg. F summer evening of Monday, August 16, 2021 – the bike riders of the Slow Roll Cleveland group – were welcomed to cries of “Happy Slow Roll”
I was standing with my Happy Slow Roll signs in front of our house on Cooley Avenue – on the sidewalk adjoining the south side of Jefferson Park as the riders rode by starting at 7:54 p.m. and ending at 7:56 p.m. – for two minutes -- as the attached 34 photographs show.
The 35th photograph shows our house in the background and two multi-colored Happy Slow Roll signs. One of the signs was attached to the grocery cart and I held the other sign in my hand as I photographed the riders passing by.
The photographs are listed at the end.
Today the Slow Roll Cleveland group rode from Mohican Park through the streets of the adjoining neighborhoods for a nearly one-hour ride.
This was the seventh ride of the season.
Many thanks to Ken Lewis Lewis and the riders of the group – who ride their bikes for miles and miles on end -- and bring so much vitality and joy to our neighborhoods.

Happy riding!
