from Mariah Crenshaw NAILAH BYRD A CRIMINAL IN CLERK OF COURTS CLOTHING By Mariah Crenshaw August 6, 2026 Appointed Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts Nailah Byrd, daughter of convicted former Cleveland Schools Superintendent Barbra Byrd-Bennet is just as underhanded and criminal as her mother. We might have to send her to Chicago too to get any sense of justice for her shenanigans. The new county structured government permits the county executive to appoint the sheriff, coroner and clerk of courts. The appointment practices has in my opinion killed the democratic republic practices that this country was founded. We the people was suppose to secure our rights to voting for our officials. They would have to create a platfrom and go out into the community to gather the support of the people. People would then have the ability to recall that. Our current system relies to heavily on appointments and now the inevitable has happened: corruption with no oversight. People are less engaged with the process and have no faith in its government yet the Democratic party fails to accept this and continues on its daily mission of photo ops and a boy mayor touring the city during summer to engage the community instead of oversighting bismal failures of his own appointees. He is showing the public what is not important to him. He has those photo ops though.
NAILAH BYRD HAS AN UNLAWFUL LIST OF PEOPLE THAT SHE BLOCKS FROM ENTERING THE COURTS IN VIOLATION OF STATE LAWS Here is a list of the names of people declared vexatious in the 8th District Court of Appeals via a local rule. As a matter of law, the appellate court had one year from the time they decided people were "vexatious" to file a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas to be able to require them to ask permission to enter an appeal. The Appellate court never gets a statutory and mandatory order from the only court with jurisdiction pursuant to R.C. 2323.52. The Clerk of Courts has no judicial authority to block litigants from filing appeals without a R.C. 2323.52 (d)(1) ORDER from the common pleas court. Yet Nailah Byrd does. She keeps a list and blocks people from filing their legal rights to enter the courts freely. So when you see people like Nailah Byrd getting an award for her "good work" ask yourself what is the measuring tool being used to determine this recognition, because if you ask these people they will tell you she is the catalyst for the courts to deny access to what they have a legal right to do. Byrd is a licensed attorney and should know better. If the appellate court has not filed the Complaint per the law she must remove those litigants names. Her conduct is criminal and each one of those people should in my opinion sue her for volations of their rights and defamation. Byrd has no legal authority to stop people from entering the appellate court on mere dicta. It is not permitted under the state statute which she is required to obey. IMO this should be a class action against the clerk of courts and the appellate court for 1983 violations.
NO COURT ORDER MEANS NO AUTHORITY TO BLOCK CITIZENS FROM ENTERING THE COURTS Without a court order it is mere dicata and the local rule expires. A list of people that have every right to face thier accusers has been deprived of that right, to be heard, and to defend themselves as a matter of law. SO when you see Nailah Byrd, Esquire ask her why she is unlawfully violating the laws of the state of Ohio and is this what is now deemed "good work"?
