WIND STORM OF SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2020

Northeast Ohio including Cleveland experienced a windstorm with gusts up to 70 mph and in addition -- rain and hail.

According to news reports the storm caused fallen trees and branches resulting in downed power lines with around 180,000 outages.

In our house, located on the south side of Jefferson Park – there were no fallen trees – just a few small branches were lying around.

Plastic outdoor chairs and tables, and flower pots – were moved around and knocked down as the lead photograph shows.

The city’s blue recycling container and other garbage containers were also moved around and knocked down.

There were no power outages in our neighborhood that I am aware of.

A walk by Jefferson Park in the late afternoon showed the trees standing tall and proud.

Marcs Plaza under dark clouds was filled with cars.

The wind was making howling sounds.

The temperature was around 45 deg. F – it was a record 77 deg. F a few days ago.

Enjoy the remaining autumn (or early winter)!
