*The Hunger Strike which started at 12:01 a.m. on March 9, 2015 is to protest corruption in the Public Square Project. *This will be my second Hunger Strike fighting corruption in the Administration of Mayor Frank G. Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio. The first one lasted 21-days. I am a 73-year old Sikh American.

 

*So far I have lost seven pounds. I drink lots of water and take frequent naps. The body is getting energy from the stored fat. I move around slowly to conserve my energy. 

 

*I have been actively opposing the proposed $32 million radical makeover for the past eight months. So far there have been nearly 250 hours of demonstrations which is the equivalent of walking nearly 750 miles carrying a sign. The LEAVE PUBLIC SQUARE ALONE signs have been seen by thousands
