IN CLEVELAND’S WEST PARK, AT ONE LOCATION, THE VOTE NO TO TAX LEVY SIGNS, ON A DRIZZLY OCTOBER 19, 2012 EVENING – OUTNUMBERED BY 5 TO 1 THE LONE SIGN FROM MAYOR JACKSON’S $1 MILLION AD CAMPAIGN FOR ISSUE 107 AT THE ENTRANCE TO FAIRVIEW HOSPITAL! SINCE JULY 17, 2012, THE VOTE NO TO TAX LEVY SIGNS HAVE BEEN CARRIED ALONG STREETS AND AVENUES IN OVER 80 DEMONSTRATIONS FOR OVER 240 HOURS COVERING AN EQUIVALENT DISTANCE OF OVER 700 MILES IN THE WARD 18 NEIGHBORHOOD OF JOHN MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL ON WEST 140TH STREET AND BEYOND, IN TREMONT, IN KAMM’S CORNERS, IN DOWNTOWN, IN FRONT OF CITY HALL & THE BOARD OF EDUCATION BUILDING, OVER THE VETERANS MEMORIAL BRIDGE, ON THE EAST SIDE, IN NORTH OLMSTED, AND OTHER LOCATIONS. EVERYWHERE THE SIGNS HAVE BEEN GREETED WITH AN OVERWHELMING NO TO TAX LEVY – MEANING NO TO ISSUE 107 – THE 15-MILL LEVY REQUESTED BY THE CLEVELAND METROPOLITAN SCHOL DISTRICT -- IN THE NOVEMBER 2012 ELECTION.
