I had a conversation with a tea-bagger the other day and concluded the biggest difference between him and me was that he literally wants to take a gun and kill people - he admits it - and I do not.

BTW, police - help us clean up lead poisoning and you won't need to work so hard, and risk your lives as much dealing with polluted ill people - check the statistics of lead poisoning and prisoners, for example...

About five years ago, my house was burglarized three times in an approximately one month period.  The last time it was burglarized I called the police and told them that the person was still in my house because I heard movement in my kitchen and ran out my door.

About 1 1/2 hours later, the police arrived even after I told them that someone was still in my house.  The blood that the thief- that later turned out to my female neighbor- left behind when she cut herself breaking out my window was left in my house for approximately three days before the crimes scene detective came to collect samples.  I had to leave her blood on my stuff, underwear drawer included, for three days untouched!

And this was before the recent police lay offs. 

Seems like the police officer's time would be better utilized working on the massive crime that has taken over this city instead of picking on my buddy Guy.

What you have missed here is that the police went to Guy Templeton Black's house today because of a blog that he posted to Realneo.

And I made a comparison to a burglary at my home in which it took approximately 1 1/2 hours to respond and three days to collect evidence.

I have dozens of police officer friends including several that would drive by my house during their shifts just to check on me after the burglaries.  I had two very fine detectives from Homicide that would sit on my porch during their breaks to let my neighbors see my protection.  I had Sgt. Gary , that recently retired from 2nd District, assist me with numerous things in the past.  And I could go on and on about Jim Simone, the Shoulder twins, Graves, Congelli, Santiago,etc.

My point was not to blast the police department, but to question why the police went  over to Guy's house over a blog.

But after talking to Guy, he helped me understand the situation a little better and said the cops did him a favor. So I will leave it at that.

I am sorry that this happened to you, Guy. Anyone with a few brain cells could see the context of your posting, but obviously, someone wanted to make a statement. Post on, post often. Litagate when neccesary.
