VOTE NO ON SIN TAX! NO TO CORPORATE WELFARE! ELECTION IN CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO IS ON MAY 6, 2014. NO TO CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO’S EXTENSION OF THE ‘SIN TAX’ FOR ANOTHER 20-YEARS. CLEVELAND BROWNS! The upgrades, part of a 2-year plan, will include physical changes to the stadium, two high-definition scoreboards, LED video boards showing stats, a new audio system, and two new escalators. According to Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, the objective of the upgrade is: “To win games consistently and to give our fans the best possible experience. It's all part of creating a world-class organization. It starts with people and goes to facilities. We're giving our fans a great place to watch football”. The upgrades will be paid for by the ‘sin tax’ with additional contributions from the city of Cleveland to the tune of $2 million per year for 15 years. The Browns are also planning to take out a loan from the NFL which will be re-paid with revenues from the ‘sin tax’ or other sources if the ‘sin tax’ is defeated. VOTE NO ON SIN TAX!
