When Can I Get Married in Tremont? - Saturday, July 4th 2pm to 5pm Lincoln Park - Registration begins at 1:30pm

With Marriage Equality now the law of the land, Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ in partnership with Tremont West Development Corporation and Cleveland Ward 3 Councilman Joe Cimperman, are hosting a Freedom to Marry Day event on Independence Day - offering 6 wedding times on the half hour in beautiful Lincoln Park (1208 Starkweather Av): 

Saturday, July 4th 2pm to 5pm Lincoln Park

The couples who sign up to get married will be legally wed

by Tremont United Church of Christ pastors, Rev. Kelly Burd and Rev. Scott Rosenstein. To register your intent to wed, visit the Freedom to Marry Day registration table at Lincoln Park at least 30 minutes before your preferred wedding ceremony time. And bring your marriage license with you!

Registration begins at 1:30pm. Rain location is Pilgrim Church (2592 W 14th Street).

 

Did you get married in another state before your marriage was legal in Ohio?

If you like a short ceremony to renew your vows on Ohio soil, you are also welcome to participate! Just let the folks at the registration table know when you check in. 

 

In addition to offering six wedding times, we're also hosting a rolling reception, meaning we'll have desserts and celebration to make your day festive. So stop by and celebrate that Marriage Equality is now the law of the land!
