Grab a lawn chair and join Passport Project as we perform music and dance from around the world at the Shaker Square Concert Series, SATURDAY JULY 19 from 6-9PM. We'll teach you a few dances, too! We share music and dance from India, W. Africa, The Philippines, France, Jamaica, Brazil,and beyond. Special guests, Gongtopia (original compositions on over 50 gongs); and Carlos Rodriguez from Sevilla, Spain shares Flamenco guitar!

This ancient form is explored as succinct control of the body is developed. Choreographies, how to improv with a partner, use of zills (finger cymbals), and props such as veils and swords are taught. Geared toward beginners and intermediate dancers, you will sharpen your isolations and learn original choreography!

The Passport Project Global Dance & Music Collective performs in the opening event at Ingenuity festival, Downtown Cleveland. 4:00 - 5:30PM, 7/25.

Passport Project's Paint My World--Street Murals at Ingenuity Festival! Join us by the Hanna Stage on Friday, 7/25 from 5:30 to 9:30PM and Saturday, 7/26 from 1:00 to 9:00PM to watch local artists create murals, and to participate in creating community murals!

Celebrate the end of a successful summer of reading and teamwork when Passport Project Global Dance & Music Collective visits the library for a dynamic presentation of capoeira, drumming, music and dance from around the world, including West Africa, India and the Philippines, followed by workshops in drumming and dance.
