Green bag Lunch with Bill Gruber and Ken Vincequerra of Dike 14.

The Cleveland Metroparks ECO Team brings you the public Green Bag Lunch Series. The title of this month's topic is "Why the Port Plan at East 55th is Not in the Public Interest," with featured speakers Bill Gruber and Ken Vinciquerra of the Dike 14 Nature Preserve Committee.

Learn more about the Port's proposed plan to build a 200-acre industrial port facility in Lake Erie at East 55th - a plan that will destroy the Cleveland Lakefront State Park & Marina at East 55th Street and significantly degrade Gordon State Park and Dike 14 Nature Preserve. What are the issues? What are the alternatives?

Will someone please go and report. I'll be working that day.

I am sort of stunned that Metroparks (who water and fertilize and herbicide, pesticide acres of golf courses) is sponsoring this, and I am dying to know what is said.
