Local musicians, artists and caring members of the community have joined forces to hold the annual benefit event known as BreastFest. This will be the fifth year raising money for breast cancer patients. This year trade's beneficiary will be Northern Ohio Breast Cancer Coalition. Breastfest 2005 will be held in the lobby of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The event is free to attend, however normal admission applies for access to the exhibits.

Watch as the children fulfill an ancient prophecy by defeating the witch, thus restoring sunshine and peace to the spell-bound Narnia and returning the great Lion King Aslan to his throne.

New Traveling Exhibition Focusing on Nanobiotechnology

HealthSpace Cleveland, Northeast Ohio’s new destination for health education, shared learning and family fun, presents the traveling exhibition, “It’s a Nano World,” opening Thursday, October 14 and continuing through Sunday, January 9, 2005. The exhibition, encompassing approximately 3,000 sq. ft., focuses on the smallest of our world’s biological wonders through a series of hands-on interactives, displays and audio-visual presentations. School groups and families with younger children will find this exhibition of particular interest as they explore a series of large magnifying instruments, scopes, scales, and even a giant blood drop pit.

Bob Barr, representative of the 7th District of Georgia from 1995 to 2003, will speak on the Patriot Act and his belief that civil liberties are being threatened by the federal government.

Barr occupies the 21st Century Liberties Chair for Freedom and Privacy at the American Conservative Union and serves as a board member of the National Rifle Association and the Patrick Henry Center and chairman of Patriots to Restore Checks and Balances. He provides advice to several organizations, including the ACLU, Southeastern Legal Foundation, and The Constitution Project’s Initiative on Liberty and Security. He served as a member of the Long-Term Strategy Project for Preserving Security and Democratic Norms in the War on Terrorism at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government from 2003 to 2005.
