Once Again...

Submitted by Oengus on August 22, 2009 - 1:58pm.

They are low on capital because the housing values fell, they have to tighten their belts. The housing feeds the system, so getting the housing values back up is necessary. Considering that the abatements came with false values and an inflated markets its pretty catastrophic what happened.

So now what?

They need to get off abatements, they could be using bonds to build affordable housing.

GAS LAMPS BURNING 24/7/365 WAY OUT OF STYLE

Submitted by Jeff Buster on August 4, 2009 - 12:09pm.

There was a time - about a hundred years ago before the electric arc and bulb - when gas lamps where left burning constantly because their mantles were damaged by burning, cooling, and re-lighting.

Today, there is no excuse to have a gas lamp burning in the day time - or at night for that matter.

Talk about global warming!

FDA dumbs to death again: mercury

Submitted by orbit on July 28, 2009 - 10:29pm.

While the FDA has decided to call dental mercury mercury (duh) and moved the risk to moderate, it still reassures us that it is safe to have in our mouth, just do not breath the vapors.

How many days to the primary?

Submitted by orbit on July 24, 2009 - 12:23pm.

The Cleveland City Council primary is Tuesday, September 8th. I am hoping for some real dialogue from the candidates in this forum on their philosphy, their own experiences, strengths, and weaknesses. Any candidates want to jump in for dialogue (and please refrain from posting copy and paste from your campaign literature)?

This post was about my PC and it being hacked….

The other post ( that was censured) stated what another person had told me, and what they told me was true.

If what Norman say is true…then I will have to tell everyone who said it. Won’t I, have to reveal my sources?

What changes at Thistledown

Submitted by Oengus on July 18, 2009 - 9:47am.

Thistledown is in the city of Warrenville Heights, and not adjacent to anything resort like!

Makes me think; good god do it right or do not do it at all!

It is interesting because it is Marcia Fudges congressional district and Warrensville Heights is her city as she was once the Mayor.

What changes at Thistledown?

This is not North Korea?

Submitted by Oengus on June 22, 2009 - 8:50am.

This video is difficult to watch, Rob Frost is taking shots at the commissioners and rightfully so. The corruption investigation is about spending and it is directly linked to construction contracts. That as it could be said; is were the money is.

Welcome to Real NEO; Open Source Capital of the Brightest Greenest State of Earth

Submitted by Norm Roulet on June 19, 2009 - 1:00pm.

Smartest Greenest Breuer

Over the past 20 years, I've spent most of my "professional" time as an entrepreneur, with world-class expertise conducting multi-dimensional, multi-client relational comparative data and best practice analyses of any aspects of the world's largest and best global enterprises, environments and systems, and developing and consulting on innovations and total quality improvement. This work has generated a wealth of knowledge on large general systems, with a unique expertise in information systems and telecommunications. REALNEO is a product of this highest level expertise, drawn from the best practices of the best organizations on Earth. What REALNEO has developed for Cuyahoga County - what has been generated out of the REALNEO-generated Real Cooperative - takes general systems innovation to a whole new level of making us the brightest greenest place on Earth. So, we really do have a purpose to Cuyahoga County owning the Breuer, and the vision is beautifully expressed in this great rendering above, to be REAL COOP citizen headquarters of the open source capital of this brightest greenest state of Earth.

This is all business as usual, isn’t it?

Submitted by Oengus on June 13, 2009 - 3:09pm.

This is all business as usual, isn’t it?

The effort to make changes in November were not put though a legitimate process, I am wondering if any exist that have enough practical knowledge to even make any significant changes.

The nation needs real financial reform.

Submitted by Oengus on June 11, 2009 - 10:04am.

The nation needs real financial reform. How do or would you regulate risk?

I believe that separating the financial system is the correct way and that the past deregulations is problematic and the recent regulation half hearted.
