Free Market capitalism drives competitive efficiency uh huh,,,Submitted by Jeff Buster on Sun, 11/13/2011 - 19:26.
The Tea Baggers and the P’Rublicans and Mr. Paul and others lament the governmental regulations which they maintain have imposed inefficiencies and non-economic influences on our capitalist economy.
Get Government regulations out of the way and free market forces will maximize efficiencies – just like Darwinian Evolution! They all hollah. (And the Democrats are just as brain-lobby sucked up as the Repubs)
Peronally, I think we need more regulation. A lot more REGULATION.
For example, take a look at the following list of common automobile tire sizes which I copied from a Craigslist ad.

Instead of the free market developing efficiencies, it would appear that the “free” market has gone off the rails. Way off the rails. Into the woods, Into the ditch.....
Because the Market isn’t "Free", the market is captive to profit demanding corporations. (A)moral Corps.
The massive INEFFICIENCY developed from hundreds and hundreds (actually thousands) of weird, totally unnecessary tire sizes means that tire manufactures produce more and more weird tire sizes to maintain inventory across the north American and European and Asian, and South American, and other markets.
The more INEFFICIENT the inventory, the more tires must be produced. Sitting on shelves and in your garage and basement. Doing nothing. Wasted. Inventory. Wasted.
BUT INVENTORY SOLD! Inventory SOLD! HA Ha
And never efficiently utilized.
HA HA
Dry rot here we come....
Consequently, the result is precisely the opposite of free market “efficiency”.
We are living a big lie.
And getting screwed through corporation driven inefficiencies every day and night.
Did I miss something?
