(A PIECE OF THE PUZZLE OF CORRUPTION IN TREMONT-CLEVELAND OHIO CUYAHOGA COUNTY) - Karl Dlugos, 40, and Lisa Cottschalt, 42, of North Olmsted: Both were free on $10,000 bonds and failed to appear Thursday for sentencing by Judge Brendan Sheehan. Cottschalt pleaded guilty Dec. 5 to cultivation of marijuana, possessing chemicals to manufacture drugs, drug trafficking and child endangering. Dlugos pleaded guilty the same day to possessing chemicals to manufacture drugs and drug trafficking. Children were present when their Mastick Road home was searched March 28 and police found methamphetamine, cocaine, ecstasy, heroin, Adderall and the ingredients to make meth. Co-defendant Robert Goines, 39, pleaded guilty to illegal manufacture of drugs and two counts of trafficking and was sentenced to four years in prison.
