Republican Senator Todd Akin, Malala Yousufzai , and Republican Mitt Romney - "little" issuesSubmitted by Jeff Buster on Mon, 10/15/2012 - 20:04.
In Pakistan there are men who believe that women are forbidden to learn. So the knowing men in Pakistan shot 14 year old Malala Yousufzai in the head. Twice. (she is, fortunately, alive, barely) In Missouri, GOP U.S. Senate nominee Todd Akin says women who are raped won't get pregnant unless they want to. "If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut the whole thing down.” Republican presidential nominee Mr. Mitt Romney has not called for Mr. Akin to get out of the race, get out of the Senate (I suggest he move to Pakistan). Folks, is Missouri Pakistan? Mitt Romney has not exercised a bona fide effort to distance himself from Mr. Akin's misogyny. Image from Google Images "legitmate rape" search What seem to be little issues often define the larger picture. Please voters, let's not go back to the cave age.

Paul Ryan: rape is a method of conception
When asked if rape is an exception to his stance on abortion, Ryan says...
something really stupid. But it is indictive of the Romeny/Ryan prespective of women.
Incubators.

Roe vs. Wade is 39 years old. We are still arguing in this country about private, legal, decisions. A recent study concluded that free birth control lowered the abortion rate!! and that administering the HPV vaccine to young girls does not increase their sexual activity.
Yet, politicians like Romney will deny the science, and in doing so, deny that women have a brain and a right to the same protection of privacy in health care as men.
Women would be little more than chattel under this administration.
Meanwhile, Romeny/Ryan will strip away protections for the poor children born to impoverished women. Those newborns have just got to take responsibilty for themselves.
Romney/Ryan are not pro-lifers, just pro-birthers.
Richard Mourdock
We can add Richard Murdock to the list of Romney supported "back to the good old life" stance on women by powerful men.
A pregnancy as a result of a rape is "intended by God"?
We all know of groups of men who feel that they are on a mission from God, and need to wage a holy war.
What is the difference?
