A site that has information about the volcano closest to me (12-18 miles away, and I live high up)

I hear this one, (Fuego) shooting off all the time. www.volcanodiscovery.com/guatemala/fuego.html

It is south of Antigua, while I live north of Antigua, higher up, so I think I am fairly safe, barring the abnormal, which is always possible.

Still, I feel safer here than in Cleveland. This is the first UNESCO Heritage (Colonial) City, and people come here from around the world.

There are special Tourist Police. They want the tourists to keep coming. Lots of foreigners living here too, they come, fall in love, and stay or go home to pack up quickly and return. Just bought a smoker/grill from a young man from North Carolina, who has an adventure company, Old Town Outfitters. Here is a picture from his Facebook page. Love the blue, blue sky they have here in the Land of the Eternal Spring.

The is also Volcan Agua, south of town as well, which is dormant.

Alcatenango (may be spelled wrong) and Picaya are also nearby.

People climb volcanos, active and not. Not me!
