10/03/2008 - 15:00 10/03/2008 - 19:00 Etc/GMT-4 Teacher Open House in University Circle teacher postcard Thursday, October 2, 2008 Join fellow teachers, community educators, principals, curriculum directors, technology coordinators, PTO & PTA leaders, and homeschoolers at this year's Teacher Open House in University Circle. Discover exciting educational opportunities in field trips, outreach programs, and distance learning. Teacher grants and field trip subsidy information for schools will be shared throughout the event. Be sure to pick up a copy of the 2008-2010 Teacher Resource Guide, available for $15 with 500+ academic and enrichment programs for your school. This year's participants include: American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association, Case Western Reserve University- Center for Community Partnerships, The Children's Museum of Cleveland, The Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, The Cleveland Play House, The Cleveland Music School Settlement, Karamu House, Lake View Cemetery, Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, The Sculpture Center, The Temple Tifereth Israel, The Western Reserve Historical Society, University Circle Inc., University Circle Interactive Cleveland, University Hospitals, and WVIZ/PBS Ideastream. Walk-in registration is available that evening at The Western Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and The Cleveland Play House. FREE parking will be available at Cleveland Botanical Garden, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, The Cleveland Play House, The Western Reserve Historical Society, and The Children's Museum of Cleveland.
