MAYOR JACKSON & COUNCILMAN SWEENEY -- PHILISTINES FROM CLEVELAND'S CITY HALL -- MAY THEIR NAMES FOREVER LIVE IN INFAMY FOR DESTROYING HISTORIC JOHN  MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL!

THE DESTRUCTION OF 80-YEAR OLD HISTORIC JOHN MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL, LOCATED IN CLEVELAND, OHIO, STARTED IN LATE OCTOBER, 2012!

The senseless destruction of John Marshall High continues.

On Tuesday, November 13, 2012 – on a cold overcast day – the following destruction was observed. Please see the slide for identification of the parts.

A: Right side of steps at Main Entrance. The stone slabs were removed earlier and today they were found to have been transported away from the site. What remains is the supporting brickwork.

B: Gaping hole between 1st & 2nd floors to right of Main Entrance. There are typically three metal decorative spandrel panels below each window. At this location, the metal panels were found removed and the hole in the center was visible.

C: Decorative Metal Panels removed typically below 2nd floor. The three metal decorative panels below the 2nd floor were found removed typically all over the façade of the building. The panels below the third floor are still in place.

Satinder Puri is filming and witnessing this horrible desecration daily.  It is sickening that the vultures in this town have no respect for a building standard that can not be replicated today.  I personally have nothing but contempt for the folks who rig the design and review process at the City of Cleveland and at CMSD.  Sickening.
