Attention all Red Line Greenway Crew members:

After a very successful group volunteer day with Cleveland Bridge Builders we are starting to plan for another (i) Cleveland Intern Volunteer Day on Wednesday July 15th. The event will run from noon to 4 PM and will include a box lunch. Last year’s event was a huge success with 120 college interns and 25 Volunteer Coordinators converging on the Red Line Greenway to do tours and complete numerous projects. One Rotarian said it was his best day ever as a Rotarian.

This year we are expecting another 120 interns and again need some of our dedicated Crew members to serve as Volunteer Coordinators. Volunteer Coordinators do not have to do any physical labor. They will lead and guide various volunteer groups in a variety of tasks including check-in, beverage and safety, supplies acquisition and team leadership. Please let us know if you can participate.

We are also in need of pick-up trucks or large vehicles to transport volunteers and equipment.

Our next Beautification date is Monday June 29th at 5:30 PM. The site looks the best it ever has but it takes constant maintenance to keep it that way. Thank you for volunteering. We look forward to seeing you June 29th and July 15th.
