CROCUS - WAITING ALL WINTER TO BUST OUT

Months of embrace from rock hard frozen earth doesn’t distract them,  carpets of last falls brown leaves don’t hold them down – a little thawing and a bit more sunshine and up they bound.

 

Only for a dozen or so days out of 365 will they parade their phenomenal colors – but that’s more than enough to have them indelibly recorded in your memory….
