Glorious Celebration at St. Rocco's

St. Rocco's Church welcomes the community and everyone from around Cleveland to enjoy in their annual celebration, parade, and festival over Labor Day Weekend...

This community fundraiser is a historical part of the Cleveland's charming history...

People from miles around come to get italian sausages cooked on the grills, to see the priests, and to visit the game booths. Families delight in rides with their kids; smiles for cotton candy and the donuts are the best in town...

People miss the weeks of work that congregants put into making this festival a success. I salute the parishioners who put love into cutting up all those bell peppers and making foods in advance for all the visitors to this gala.

I shall never forget some of my first skyline views of Cleveland on top of the "Salt & Pepper Shaker" ride when I was a small child. I recall being stuck at the top for quite a while once when I was probably 5 or 6 years old with my girlfriend when the ride broke down. While it was scary; it was a great view of the world around us. It's still one of my favorite rides!

I hope that all goes well this year at the festival.

Always Appreciative, "ANGELnWard14"
