Why: Cleveland: Confronting Decline in an American City (Northern Light Productions/Boston) is part of an effort by the Lincoln Institute to examine issues critical to the nation’s cities, and to reach a broader constituency of people who care about their communities. The first film in the series was on Phoenix; the next film will be on another major metropolitan area, such as Portland. The film is available for screening around Greater Cleveland, in the hope that discussion about the future of Cleveland will be prompted after the closing credits roll.
