1.) If elected to the position of County Executive, what three or four goals would top the list of things that you'd hope to accomplish during your term in office?

This response is in relation to a statement I made about this campaign that has been published in the Plain Dealer.

As a "Different Breed of Candidate"....I will work tirelessly to put families first by promoting ethical leadership that protects the interests of our people, inspires the best in everyone and unites our diverse population under equal opportunity and empowerment! 

I will blatantly say this..... My original quote about being an "ignorant hillbilly" has a couple parts....

BTW: Disney World is already in Cuyahoga County... it's has an independently operated store locally. (Don't forget to shop there to help keep them here!) 

What follows include Ward 14 Councilman (Brian Cummins) outlining his funding choices and an exchange of citizen reactions to challenge his actions and requesting a recall due to {unethical} "politics as usual activities".

Dear Citizens of Cuyahoga County,

Your voice needs to be heard when you elect your future representatives in Cuyahoga County. I am calling for each and every registered voter to stand up and uphold democracy that is for the people and by the people of our Great Nation.... YOU!

Citizens of Northeast Ohio have RIGHTS to be protected encompassing the Ohio Revised Code, Federal Laws, and Codified Ordinances of the City of Cleveland.

For all too long, the laws have been used to "HUSH" citizens who spoke up and againSt corruption...

For ages, Whisteblowers in Cleveland could expect a list of retaliatory practices that undermined their credibility....

MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND GET OUT TO VOTE ON SEPTEMBER 07, 2010: 

I am amazed by the fact that the City of Cleveland, Ohio has so many concurrent events driven by civic organizations, community development organizations, social service organizations, businesses, veterans groups, institutions of higher learning, and philanthropic entities that continually cycle through the Cleveland region annually and that there is no 1 entity that tracks them all for their meeting dates, their event dates, and their administrative/organizational events which should-in most cases-be open to the public.

I missed several days of blogs for events beyond my control and my time is limited to rsvp a subject I am unable to spend HOURS and HOURS and HOURS reveiwing to make any assessments...moreover, I am tapped for time to react...which brings to mind a particular way of life these days.....too much information and information overload....

I guess my simple point is this....we are all trying to share info across the board that we feel our members should be "aware" of so that they can choose to pass it forward, share it, or react to it as they deem appropriate.

To know the elders of your community who have watched you grow, who have been there through thick and thin and who continue to be icons in your community-is priceless... May God Bless the elders of our community with the respect that they deserve....May we honor, appreciate, and salute them for sharing their wisdom....Today, St. Rocco's had a First Communion Ceremony for over a dozen young catholic children....it's very nice to know that so many famlies are getting back to the basics in our community!

Can anyone explain to me what "Moral Claims" are under this emergency ordinance?  I found it on the February 03, 2010 City Record for the City of Cleveland.

For those who wonder about how the CDBG Funding process works... here's a copy of the PDF files...there are 2 more cover pages from the Community Development Director which are not copied but are in the link! 

A visit to theCity of Cleveland Planning Commission with a review of the 2020 Citywide Plan for Cleveland revealed no substantial development projects in Ward 14.

Until our leadership in Ward 14 can see beyond their noses of continuously abusing our demographics in order to steer our HUD CDBG funds into other areas of the city, (TREMONT WEST)-there will never be effective growth and development in Ward 14.

While you weren't paying attention....or being publicly notified....things have been transpiring right in front of you... See the City Record for 4/14/2010 regarding the change of use redistricting of the areas near Seymour/W30th/West 25th/Erin and then around State/Pearl.

So, government is going to change come 2011 in Cuyahoga County with new leadership and management. In November, we are going to vote for new County Council members and a new County Executive... what are we voting for this time? 

I sincerely am curious-without ridicule, what the citizens of Cuyahoga County would ask for from a County Executive? If you had a candidate in front of you, what would be your humble CITIZEN EXPECTATION LIST?

My little pets in the backyard enjoy coming out at night! They run away if we go out there. But they roam freely and are so cute! I actually enjoy these animals! 

Has anyone had STONE SOUP lately? 

Perhaps we can all enjoy some this year....ridding our community of the Lucifer Effects.... and enjoying the prosperity of working together towards nourishing ourselves within the community....

So, it's Christmas time in Cleveland.... we got to drive by the Christmas Story House...and through downtown to see the lights....and we got to see Santa Claus at one of the Christmas projects....and we got to see the Christmas Special at the Church.... and now we will enjoy the amusements of a quiet Christmas counting our priceless blessings.... We actually put up a Christmas Tree and some decorations too. We are very lucky...or so I think so.
