The Social Sciences Department of the Cleveland Public Library will hold their non-fiction book club discussion on tomorrow, Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 12:00 PM in the Social Sciences Department (Sports Research Center).  We will discuss the book entitled, "Framing Innocence: a Mother's Photographs, a Prosecutor's Zeal, and a Small Town's Response." (Lynn Powell)

"Ten years ago, amateur photographer and school bus driver Cynthia Stewart dropped eleven rolls of film at a drug store near her home in Ohio.  The rolls contained photographs of her eight-year-old daughter Nora, including two of the child in the shower - photos that would cause the county prosecutor to arrest Cynthia, take her away in handcuffs, threaten to remove her daughter from her home, and charge her with crimes that carried the possibility of sixteen years in prison."

Please join us for an enlightened book discussion. Copies of the book may be picked up in Social Sciences Department and checked out in Lending Department. However, due to the limited number of the copies, if you would like a reserved place on the title for you, please contact us as soon as possible.

Feel free to bring your lunch. Coffee, water, and refreshments will be provided.  All are welcome!

THE AUTHOR WILL BE HERE TO FACILITATE

 THE DISCUSSION!
