the racist word nigger is used incontext as james told me his story - lily used the racist word nigger incontext as she heard and folks told their stories to lily - in tremont and other places - as i have and many others have heard the racist word nigger and other words spoken by the white elite mostly as they talk amongs their selves and occasional slip of speech in public - and any one that says lily is a racist is taking the word nigger out of context for their own racist agenda -

from enlisting in 1975, i spent about six months at fort dixion, and one and half years at fort jackson and never had a problem with racist soldiers and  had a clean record - only when i was transferred to fort hood, texas,  A company 163 military intelligence battalion and was told by  sergeant william charles garrett jr. and others "that just because i call you a nigger - you not going to get away with talking back" as i would say "why are you are being a racist and treating me worse than a dog".  

as i complained  i was ordered to see an army physiatrist
and the physiatrist   reported that nothing was wrong with me
and recomended that i be transfered to a more friendly unit
which i wasn't-

also my family mother knew of my racist treatment and wrote
a letter to president jimmy carter and president carter intervined
and advocated on my behalf and i was finally released from fort
hood, texas, - although falsly convicted and given a bad conduct discharge-
 
general collen powel said if he would have entered the army a few years earlier he would not have been succesfull because of the racist climate was a lot worse - and that was the time james spencer  was in the army - especially texas-
 
james spencer has never been convicted of any crime felony in civilian life-
 
over the years james spencer has requested help from the red cross about three times and the cuyahoga veterans services about three times for benifits which wern't given and have the false bad conduct discharge over turned to honorable - and no one would stand up to the racist part of our militray -goverment and help  james spencer-
 
james spencers complete story will be added as james recalls more and more military records and documents - also the investigation by the army Review Board Agency -
