America SCORES Cleveland seeks corporate and community teams for soccer tourney and fundraiser benefiting youth program

Calling all Cleveland-area professionals and soccer enthusiasts, ages 18 and up. Join America SCORES Cleveland and participants from local companies for a day of friendly soccer competition on Saturday, March 10 at the 8th annual America SCORES Cleveland SCORES Cup. The SCORES Cup is a day-long co-ed charity soccer tournament benefiting 450 Cleveland public school students participating in after-school soccer, poetry and service-learning programs.

Companies and teams participating in the SCORES Cup make a difference in their community while playing at least three competitive or recreational soccer games and networking with fellow Cleveland professionals. Team entry of $1,500 provides teams with event t-shirts, covers registration fees, and guarantees one Cleveland child an entire year of soccer and poetry programming.

WHEN: Saturday, March 10, 2012 - 9 am - 6:30 pm
