My older children are coming to town shortly and we will be celebrating the Christmas of the Coming - (and reaffirming ourselves as pagans with a nice fire for Candelmas.
I mean lets take this for what they say it is and commercialize it now!

If everyone would just quit thinking about some silly Eternity or Afterlife, maybe we could get around to cherishing (and improving) this, the only existence we have.
dbra, I just took down my x-mas tree (yes, it is late, but it was a great tree and we became close). If you need a x-mas tree to burn for the Candelmas, it is yours.
I will take you up on that! We have last years, but the hens had their way with it all summer and there's very few needles left. There is nothing so glorious as a fir tree going up in flames!
oh - and you can meet my princess - I think you'll get a kick out of her! spittin' image...
