What is Your Favorite Farmer's Market?

LifeHacker had a great posting showing a USDA resource to find farmer's markets all across the country.

Farmers markets provide a place to buy produce and other products that are locally grown. In many cases these foods are fresher because they haven't traveled hundreds, if not thousands of miles, to reach your dinner table.

I'm relatively new to this phenomenon but my favorite market is the one at Shaker Square on Saturdays. The listing for this market from the link above is as follows:

Coit Farmers Market, but not for the ordinary

Interesting list - wow are there a lot of Farmers' markets in America and Ohio - and so few around here... we'll need to clean up the list and add a few - Coventry has one on Thursdays, I believe - I think of the West Side Market like a farmers market but I suppose that isn't true... it's my favorite market of any type in America (although the market in Seattle and in New Orleans are extra special). In NEO, I respect the Shaker Farmers Market very much - they are the trailblazer and everyone I know in the Heights go there regularly so I know they are appreciated... Evelyn was there this morning. Still, as for extra credit for hard work and heart, and heart break - it is the Coit Farmers Market... I'll take some pictures this week and post them
