For those down with Worm Proliferation in general, click here to check out the latest video snippet from our team in action at James Ford Rhodes. The clip is located 2 posts down on the North Coast Green Spieler Blog.

Its a few second clip so let me set the stage.
Our student team has had several hours now of:

So by the time the video was shot, the students had plenty of oppertunities to be holding more worms then they ever laid eyes on!  Truely a blast.    The girls dont want to wear gloves!!

Shock and awe to raise awareness, decrease organic waste sent to the landfill, and hence decrease landfill gas emissions (methane).  Methane is 18-21 times more powerful of a greenhouse gass (insulator) than carbon dioxide.  Therefore worm proliferation is a potential solution to global warming.   Put that in your pipe and smoke it Al Gore and your thousand dollar natural gas bills per month for your mega mansion in TN!

In reality it is a underutilized benificial reuse technology that has a WOW! effect on kids.  We have been recycling glass, plastic, aluminum, etc for way to long.  I cant even get a deposit for my bottle recycling anymore.  Its time to keep pushing the envelope.
