  While our overpaid NEO Chamber of Commerce Positively Cleveland trips all over itself and may be losing a good chuck of the revenue that keeps them going---SPACES gallery actually accomplishes the goal of putting us on the map---providing the type of synergy this town so sorely needs with the aptly titled show: Internal Compasses.

Visiting artist Efrat Klipstien's return to Israel prompted a goodbye party that allowed many to see the show last night.  Douglas Max Utter's coverage in the Cleveland Scene gives you a sense of what you might be missing if you do not go to see the show. 

For me--the show conjured up the happenstance of experience one finds at the Carnegie International, Mattress Factory and Warhol museum in Pittsburgh.  This is a show that residents and visitors to Cleveland can stumble upon, experience and remember as providing a relevelant sense of place.  Families, especially, will find that the current exhibit at SPACES appeals on many levels.

So, catch this show--look around you, explore, and find your bearings--visit St. Malachi and dine at Ponte Vecchio--you can travel far and wide and experience the world in NEO.
