Why has the Demo Activity practically stopped in our community????

Can anyone share the reasons & rhymes of what's going on with our $40 Million of NSP funding through the City of Cleveland Community Development Department, Demolitions Department, the CDC's, and the City Council????? Is it all being steered to downtown development instead of being used in the struggling neighborhoods it was meant to "stabilize?" We, the citizens of Cleveland, deserve a balance sheet on these funds.... what's the story, Cleveland City Council? Why all the distractions? It's pretty simple at the end of the day..... Where is the line item spreadsheet that shows how you all are using that funding????

 

Let's start with asking for the allocations on the Demolition Department of the City of Cleveland? 

How much does it actually cost to demo a property? 

How do you become a contractor? 

How do you bid on those demo contracts?

Who gets to decide who wins those contracts? 

Where's the transparency? 

Please....humor those of us who are "cynical" and share with the public exactly what's been going on for the last 25 years or so under the great Damian Borkowski.... >>>>><<<<<<?
