Steven Litt: FRONT announced the artist roster for the 10-week exhibition, along with special projects involving institutional partners including the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, Spaces, and the Akron Art Museum.
Widely known names on the FRONT exhibit list include those of Chicago artist Theaster Gates, Yoshitomo Nara of Japan, and Julie Mehretu, and Chakaia Booker of New York.
Northeast Ohioans with work in the show will include Dexter Davis of Cleveland, Linda L. Green of Art Therapy Studio in East Cleveland, Paul O’Keeffe of Cleveland Heights, and the late Audra Skuodas and La Wilson.
The locales are scattered within walking distance of the Akron Art Museum. I rode Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Bike aboard - budget time to especially see exhibit at the Quaker Square and Myers Art School at University of Akron. The psych stop might interest some - me, not so much. It was great to see a young entrepreneur make use of the Lock 4 art installation.
I love artist https://www.terrywinters.org/ so it was a pleasure for me to find his work featured at the Myers School https://www.uakron.edu/im/news/synapse-15-intersections-of-art-and-science-july-15-sept-30-2022 for more see http://synapseartscience.com/
