Raise Your Wolf Awareness at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Bring your pack to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and celebrate Wolf Awareness Day,

Saturday, October 15, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wolf Awareness Day is designed to raise public awareness about the need to protect the wolf.

Crafts, games and educational programs will make you and your little pups howl with delight. Activities take place in both the Zoo’s Exhibit Hall and Wolf Wilderness in Northern Trek. In Wolf Wilderness, Meet-the-Wolf-Keeper at 1:00 p.m. and learn what it takes to care for the Zoo’s pack of gray wolves. Create a wolf mask and listen to interpretative character Jeremiah Colter dispel wolf rumors with the "Fact or Fable" interactive game.

In the Exhibit Hall, Zoo educators will be available with informational displays to answer questions and to talk about wolf conservation. The fun continues with canine crafts and and face painting. Then, stop by the Zoo Auditorium (adjacent to the Exhibit Hall) to catch a showing of the movie, Peter and the Wolf.
