A Sustainable IngenuitySubmitted by MShafarenko on Fri, 06/02/2006 - 12:26.
Measures have been taken to greenify the Ingenuity Festival of Art and Technology. In particular, recycling bins have been donated to us by the City of Cleveland and we are excited to be environmentally conscious in our efforts. However . . . we need a team of people dedicated to the recycling efforts who will encourage festival goers to recycle, help sort recycled materials, and deliver recycled materials to main recycling dumpster on site. For anyone passionate about this cause, this is a great opportunity to educate the masses about the importance of recycling and ensuring that the operation runs smoothly. Please take this into consideration and tell your friends. I think the time has come to get our community involved and the Ingenuity Festival is great forum to do just that.

greenGenuity
i'd like to help out with these efforts - how does one get involved??
GreenGenuity Volunteer Info Here
Hey John, there is more posted on volunteering to help green Ingenuity here.
What about art that addresses the issue of lead?
I am involved with The Greater Cleveland Lead Advisory Council and Cleveland Communities Organized Against Lead. I would like to create an art installtion for Ingenuity Fest that would raise awareness of lead in the environment and the risk of lead poisoning. How would I go about doing this?
Probably best to contact Levin
Considering how soon is Ingenuity Fest, it is probaly best to get in touch with James Levin directly to see how this may be arranged. Your idea would offer great outreach for the Lead Awareness Rally at city hall the following week.
