Boating Camp helps more of the region appreciate our Great Lake

This week East Cleveland clerk of City Council Mark McClain has a very fun and energetic group of kids from East Cleveland down at Whiskey Island Marina learing water safety and boating in a very cool program Mark leads with local charities. I need to track down more details, but wanted to share this picture of Mark and his group enjoying the Lake Erie shoreline, on one of the hottest days imaginable... great work Mark!

god bless Mark McClain and

god bless Mark McClain and everyone else who takes it upon themselves to expose children to the wonderment of the out of doors.  Nature is a force that can be life changing.  This post is incredably timely considering related discourse offline.

The lake is our national forest, our wilderness.....   word.

Yes! Way to go!

For sure, while many folks sit around a ruminate and pontificate about how things should be, guys like Mark are doing it, right now. He is a true Agent of Positive Change, and an example of somebody not just talking the talk, but walking the walk, Bravo!

Peace
