Established in 1912 to encourage new ideas and a free
exchange of thought, The City Club of Cleveland is the oldest continuous free
speech forum in the country, renowned for its tradition of debate and
discussion. The City Club’s mission is to inform, educate and inspire citizens
by presenting significant ideas and providing opportunities for dialogue in a
collegial setting.

City Club website provides detailed information - please visit http://www.cityclub.org/

Radio Network
One of the most important roles The City Club plays is its
role as an ambassador for Cleveland through its expansive
national radio network. Over the years, The City Club's radio
network has continued to grow and currently spans radio outlets
from Maine to Alaska. Our flagship station is Cleveland's
WCLV 104/9 FM, which has been broadcasting our Friday Forums
live for 28 years. More than 400,000 people listen to City
Club Forums each week.

Radio broadcasts are made possible by Case
Western Reserve University.

Television
Through a partnership between The City Club, WVIZ/PBS Ideastream
and Adelphia, City Club Forums are recorded and broadcast
on WVIZ at 10:00 Sunday mornings. They are also broadcast
over most Adelphia systems on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 9pm.
The City Club television program reaches tens of thousands
of civic-minded citizens in our community each week.

Television broadcasts are made possible
by John Carroll University and Nordson Corporation.
