A Brother Hanously Murdered: A Court's Social InjusticeSubmitted by ANGELnWard14 on Fri, 09/24/2010 - 13:57.
What fueled my campaign to reform Social Injustice across Cuyahoga County? In 1973, Edward M. Mangini MURDERED my brother Paulie who was 3 years old. He beat my brother so severely that the autopsy should only be viewed by those with the gumption to hold it in... He was convicted in January 1974 via Cuyahoga County case number: CR 73009419-2A and his date of birth is September 19, 1947. Judge John J. McMahon allegedly gave him 1 year in the City workhouse....with weekends off for a brutal, hanous, and irreversible murder of an innocent child. The police, the court system, and the jail system have been corrupt for TOO LONG! The social injustices in our county and the impact to families like my own have been quantitatively immeasurable! Someone explain it to me? When does it end? Perhaps all of these people in positions of leadership, judgment, and accountability across our community should begin to imagine your worlds being destroyed because you were held liable for your corruption!!! Perhaps unbiased judges from outside of our region would hold them accountable... Perhaps if ethical, local attorneys didn't have to live in fear of "GOING AGAINST THE GRAIN" of corruption in our community, perhaps then- the real residents could ascertain the legal counsel necessary to sue the crap out of this county for its gross injustices at large. Perhaps if local attorneys wouldn't be blackballed for doing the right thing-then we could find justice. Perhaps if judges were pure of corruption-then they wouldn't pull strings for the few who could afford to bribe them! Perhaps I am just that-"Crazy" for believing that the truth is worth fighting for in this community that has been decimated by corruption! Amazing-the generations who have been raised up by the "corrupt" to believe that their behavior is "acceptable" and that they are "Not Guilty of any crimes" (RICO, Bribery, collusion, ethics violations, and so many more considerably questionable acts in violation of the law and the rights of so many citizens!!!) I am so humored by those living large in those circles of corruption... They are ugly, condescending, mongers of collusive practices that only benefit those with the power to pay to play! They are like roaches...surviving all the FBI Bombs laid in their paths. They will survive this period of extermination and rebirth stronger as they have done for ages....unless we unite against them and keep dropping the bombs that expose them until they are eradicated. This is but the beginning of reform, transformation, and independence from fearing retaliation, retribution, and rebuke! UNITED WE STAND!

I'm certainly sorry for this tragedy
You'll have to explain to us how things could have worked better and may work better in the future, in situations like with your brother. There is no better way to learn than from real life examples, as horrible as reliving such experiences may be.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Disrupt IT
very sad
what a shame
Answer why the murderer's sentence was so questionable?
When this system can explain the corruption intertwined in story after story similar to this one...when the lackadaisical folks who empower corruption without caring about the real people are removed from power....and when those who thrive from their corrupt practices are challenged with equal access practices that protect ALL INTERESTS and ALL RIGHTS OF ALL PARTIES-not just the corrupt....perhaps then we shall begin to have some sense of social justice....
I know-it's laughable isn't it....? To believe that the little people are unyieldingly ready to unite and collectively seek social justice for uncountable stories like the one above?
Smiles... I hear the snickers of the elitists, I see the snubbed noses of the haughty, and I feel the scorn of the collusive... But I will not remain silent, afraid, or intimidated for the duration of my life and neither should any citizen in our community!
UNITED WE STAND TO DISRUPT CORRUPTION!
Tell Judges to Quit Violating the Law...
Start with the Legal System beginning with Cops...
Remove leadership that has historically been on the "TAKE" by the corruption.
Provide Equal Access to Legal Assistance...
Quit using quotas to build a bigger prison system.
LEARN THAT THE COURT SYSTEM IS A BIG BUSINESS that makes more more corruptly than legally in many cases.
Allow folks to do community service from the get go-when they are low income...and use that community service time to rebuild our community at large...parks, buildings, streets, etc.
Stop trying to rape the poor with more fines, taxes, and court fees when you know that they cannot reasonably afford it.
Make a local "jail school" where criminals can attend local court ordered classes for GED/etc. and have it monitored by the police so that they come daily until they graduate with diplomas and then coordinate them with more training by implementing collaborative programs.... and then they can do community service...
TEACH LEADERSHIP AND STUDENT GOVERNMENT IN THE SCHOOLS SO THAT PEOPLE KNOW THEIR BASIC RIGHTS.
INSPIRE PARENTS TO BE INVOLVED BY TREATING THEM EQUITABLY-PARTICULARLY THE LOW INCOME AND LESS EDUCATED FAMILIES. THEY DON'T NEED SNUBBED AT THE DOOR BY THE LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOLS.
GET BACK TO THE BASICS...DO THE RIGHT THING ALWAYS!
