W.C. Reed was a Cleveland city council person and I am going to presume he is as crooked as current CLE citiy council folks - so I prefer to call this Denison Park.  Residents saved three English Oaks and one White Oak in the park.  Tony Brancatelli wanted to murder all of our trees.
