Saturday, Oct 15, 2005, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm, $79.95
These Saturday morning workshops for the public – on October 15, 22 and 29 and November 5 and 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – are ideal for beginning or just-bogged-down writers who want direction, connection and a jumpstart. Participants will work in fiction, poetry, essay and memoir. Experienced writers will guide students through the mysteries of genre, craft and workshop technique. In addition, Cleveland State will host a special, focused workshop for playwrights, aspiring or just curious. After four working meetings, all workshop participants will gather on November 19 for a reception and open-mike reading by students and featured writers. Cleveland State’s popular Imagination/2 workshop series is back and will be held at eastside, westside, and downtown Cleveland locations in October and November. Workshop size is limited; for details or to register, please call 216-687-2532 or 216-687-4522 or send an email to imagination2 [at] csuohio [dot] edu
